ALFA
End of development
After serious consideration I would like to announce end of development of ALFA software as of 31.12.2007. This decision has been concluded based on reasons as follows:
obsoletion of technology, especially connected to coming Windows Vista
impossibility of simple port to another operating system than Windows (Linux)
unability to run secure transactions via internet
obsolete data engine
As of 31.12.2007, the last updated release will be available, after this date, the development of new functions will be terminated in favor of correction of errors in current application code. The error-correction period is planned for year 2008, after that period, the application will stay available "as-is", without further maintenance.
I would like to thank you to all of users for interest and patience, and hope, that they still benefit from usage of the program.
